Thank you for wanting to plant a native tree or shrub!

These trees were planted from bareroot seedlings in 3-gallon containers this past spring and are now 2-5 feet tall.

Species include: Chinkapin Oak, Kentucky Coffee Tree, River Birch, Arrowwood Viburnum, Hazelnut, Gray Dogwood, Red Twig Dogwood.

To pick up a free tree you must agree to:
  • plant the tree on private property and not along streets or in parks
  • keep the tree properly watered and maintained
Registration is first come-first serve, but priority will be given to FACT members, Westerville residents, residents who have few or no tall trees in their yards, or residents who are replacing non-native invasive species such as honeysuckle and Callery pear in their yards.
You will receive a confirmation email as soon as possible.

Please sign up for one pickup event only.

Approximately 175 trees will be available at this location, including Hazelnut & Spicebush.

If you choose pickup at this location you will get assistance putting the tree into your car.

At 12pm extra restoration trees will be given away first-come first-serve. (These trees may not be the best yard specimens, e.g. small, misshapen, with some spots, but are good for large restoration projects)
